Happy Monday! Just a quick reminder that I’m giving away Keeper or Moon Cup menstrual cups over on my review blog. Here’s the link to enter: click here and here is my review of the Keeper. I tried cloth pads as well, but they just were too messy for me.
The last contest we had, we gave away TEN menstrual cups, so the more people that enter, the more people win! The deadline is tomorrow at midnight.
Now, I need to get back to dehydrating tomatoes. Yes, I know that’s strange.

Is the Oct 1 contest over? I would love to win a Keeper! I first heard about menstrual cups last year when I was serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Niger. While I was still throwing away and filling up my latrine with pads and tampons, some of my fellow female volunteers were happily keeping their latrines naturally empty. Furthermore, they told me the cups were convenient for living in the bush. They swore they would never go back to tampons! After further research, I learned that these cups are also convenient for life back in civilization! Please let me know if the contest is still going! Thanks!
