The apples taste so much better. I was able to find people that would let me pick apples on freecycle this year. Yummy! I also went and paid to pick Strawberries in the spring. We have also picked and enjoyed blueberries and juneberries from the wild and Raspberries at my parents home. 40 cents a pound is a good deal. I hope you enjoy all your apples. I love local foods!
