National Delurking Day 2010

Posted by Mrs Money | January 14th, 2010

It’s National Delurking Day! If you’ve been a reader for awhile, just happened to stumble upon this site, or found me somehow, I’d love to have a comment from you! I’d love to ‘meet’ you, so say hi and don’t be scared- I don’t bite!

If you would, please tell me your name and your favorite food.

I’ll go first: I’m Mrs. Money (my picture is up top) and my favorite food is anything chocolate!

Fire away!

G’day! My name’s Tegan and I’m an Aussie. My favourite food changes with my mood, but I’m always up for pizza – especially homemade because then I can put on it what I want.

Hi Tegan!! Can I come visit you? I’ll cook and clean!

I love pizza too. And homemade rocks because you know it’s healthier too! :)

My favorite food is ice cream. I found your blog a few weeks ago when I wanted to learn ways to save $ in 2010. Our goal is to pay off our car loan and my student loan this year.

    Mrs Money Reply:

Hi Sara G! I love ice cream too. Chocolate ice cream is my favorite! Thanks so much for reading. I am confident you can pay those off this year! If I can be of any help, please let me know!

    Sara G Reply:

The car loan payment is auto deducted each month and the 36 month loan is finished in November of this year. I am so glad that we went with a 36 month loan instead of a 60 month loan.

My student loan in also auto deducted each month but will not be paid off until mid-2011 at that rate. I am debating between trying to put a little extra in each month or just pulling some money from savings. Any suggestions?

Missed this one by a day but still! I’ve been lurking here for a while now and I really enjoy the financial inspiration.

I’m Megan, and my favorite food is…well…anything that Noodles & Company makes. And rice. Lots and lots of rice.

Hi Megan! Thanks for your kind comments!

I LOVE NOODLES. We don’t have one where I live and when we go to a city that has one I have to go! I introduced my hubby to them and he loves it too. I love the Wisconsin Mac N Cheese!

    Megan Reply:

That’s probably my favorite comfort food, but I’m a little biased since I’m from Wisconsin, and all Wisconsinites love cheese.

Also, I’m sort of impressed that it isn’t just a local menu item! Yum!
