I have read that it coats your teeth and blocks their absorption of calcium and other good things from your diet. I have been using plain grey sea salt for about 3-4 weeks now, and I'm ready to make a real paste to use. My teeth are looking a little dingy, probably from the greyness of the salt. So I need some baking soda in there! I will start making my own toothpaste now, but I am not going to add the vegetable glycerin to it.
