We get Starbucks every morning, we try to pay for the people behind us as often as we can. It’s a real day brightener getting free coffee first thing in the morning.

A family close by had a house fire earlier this week, and one of the girls who lost everything went to school with my daughter. We went through my daughter’s closet and got some good used items and also went to JCP where I combined some coupons and rewards and were able to get a few outfits for her so that she’d have something to wear to school.

Also, an elderly couple in the complex had a massive fire and for some reason NO ONE was offering to help them as they moved from one apartment to the other and sifted through their salvageable things. So we did. My husband and I offered up our laundry soap and quarters for the laundry room, and helped them move.
