Kacie- When I was younger and had goldfish we used to leave the water out on the counter overnight to get rid of the chlorine. I've used filtered water to make my water kefir, and it's worked out well!

You totally should! If you're interested, I can mail you some water kefir grains when mine start to multiply. I don't think you need too many. I really love this stuff because it's made me feel wonderful. I am truly amazed. Let me know if you want me to send you some water kefir grains!

I think you can boil tap water for a time (not sure how long) to get rid of the chlorine and stuff.

I'm renewing my interest in Nourishing Traditions-type stuff and I think I might start giving these kinds of things a try! Will let you know if I do.

Kevin- I've seen that brand at the store! I love the water kefir (I think it reminds me a little of sparkling wine). I can't wait to try it with different juices. Yum!

Kefir is great. I first got introduced to Kefir about 5 years ago. Never knew about water kefir. I usually drink the regular yogurt flavor. I think the brand was Lifeway?
