How is the Economy in your Hometown?

Posted by Mrs Money | May 15th, 2008

map.jpgI was looking at this map the other day about which states are in a recession, and surprisingly, the state I currently live in is listed “at risk”. Thankfully. That doesn’t mean were in the clear though. I find it interesting that Arizona is in a recession. I didn’t think that was one of the states affected. Of course Michigan and Florida were no big shocker.

With gas prices at $4 a gallon, I wonder how people are going to cope.  I’m anxious to see if gas prices ever go down, or if we are going to never see below $3.50 a gallon ever again.  What are your thoughts?  Will gas stay at least $4 a gallon permanently?

Looks like I’m “at risk” too here in Southern California.

No big shocker there with the falling real estate prices.
