Have you tried vinegar? It can be used as a rinse agent but I got so sick of my no-good detergent (have not found commercial green detergent that works) I just filled a bowl of vinegar on the bottom rack and ran a load without any other soap–it wasn’t perfect but at least it didn’t leave white residue everywhere. I would take it over some detergents!

dish soap is crazy, I love how different brands bubble and how putting a dirty plate in the water and the dirt just lifts away…maybe thats weird. I just do.
