Confession Friday

confession.jpgI had a little bit of a crazy week money-wise and thought I could (and should) ‘fess up here.  If you’d like to participate, make your own ‘Fess up Friday post and link it here.  Please let me know in the comments if you like this idea!

-Purchased a greenhouse on a whim.  $350+ later, we have an unassembled greenhouse in the gardening shed.

-Did some research (after purchasing said greenhouse-bad idea!) and now will be returning it tomorrow morning.

-Went out to lunch one day with Mr. Money (coincidentally the day we bought the greenhouse) and spent almost $15 we hadn’t planned on.

-Went out and spent money on seeds for our garden even after Mr. Money told me we needed to plot it first.

-Finally signed up on mint.com for an account.  Mint.com doesn’t like that we keep a “low” balance in our checking account and sends nasty emails telling me to watch my spending.

That’s my Fess up Friday!

  1. I don’t think I have much to confess, other than our day trip yesterday cost us one Durango tank full of gas (big tank) and a fast food dinner cause I was too injured and exhausted to cook. But I knew we needed a little get away so I’m not repenting!

I get the urge for a greenhouse but we have no good spot to put one. Good luck gardening! I hope I have a better year than last, I got invaded by voracious caterpillars.

We actually returned the greenhouse on Saturday. We’re looking into getting one from Costco. Or doing without! ;)
