		<description>They do come out clean. :)  I make sure to soap them up well.  I don&#039;t carry them home from restaurants either, haha.</description>

		<description>I don&#039;t really have an opinion, I don&#039;t use straws at home. Do they clean up OK, I guess as long as it&#039;s not gross I&#039;ll go with frugal rather than cheap.</description>

It seems to me you&#039;re making a &quot;green&quot; choice here.  Have you heard of glass straws?  Although, I&#039;ve never used them, as I just found out about them a couple months ago, they sound like a wonderful alternative.  Check out this site:  www.glassdharma.com.
