Bloggy Giveaway! Something Handmade
Yesterday I commented on Emily’s post “Something Handmade”. It’s a blog giveaway with a twist. Here’s how it worked:
She was offering something handmade to the first 5 people to reply to her post. I was #4. The catch is that I have to pass along the same offer on my blog. So, here I am. Offering something handmade by ME for YOU if you are one of the first 5 to leave a comment here and
promise to post the same offer on your blog to 5 lucky readers. That last part is optional.
A few things:
1- I make no guarantees that you will like what I make!
2- What I create will be just for you.
3- It will be done this year. (before December 31, 2009!)
4- You have no clue what it’s going to be. I can sew and knit. I do photography. I make soap. The point being you have no clue what gift you will end up with. I promise it will be something made with love, though!
So, if you’d like to be the recipient of a lovely gift from me, please comment here! You will have to give me your address obviously, so please don’t comment if you’re scared of that.

So cool! A handcrafted present and the (gentle) encouragement to to the same for someone else even if we don’t have a blog. What’s not to like?
If we’re going to need to wait quite some time before you announce the results, you might want to email the winner, though.

I’ve always wanted to try something homemade, I’ve also gotten into trying to be a lot more environmental friendly. I also want to learn how to make more homemade gifts to give to people for the special occasions, it helps other people be more aware and consious.. and in the longer run even helps you save money

Okay, I’ll bite. I enjoy your blog and have found many good ideas here. I do not have a blog so can’t pass on the giveaway that way. I will send something handmade to someone as a “random act of kindness” type thing. ??
