There are many different ways to green your life, and not many people think about how to green your sex life. All natural lubricants? What’s the point? Think about it: when you put it on your skin, your body absorbs it. Why would you want to put chemicals and toxins on such a sensitive area of your body?! I don’t. So what do you do? Use something natural!
All Natural Lubricants
These are some all natural lubricants that you may have around your house. Of course, there are also all natural lubricants available for purchase, but that’s not resourceful, right?! Here are a few ideas for some natural lovin’:
Coconut oil: Coconut oil is a very light, easily absorbed oil. When you buy unrefined, virgin coconut oil (lol), it often has a light coconut scent. Coconut oil also tastes good. Just sayin’.
Olive oil: Olive oil is a little bit heavier, so if you are wanting a lube that’s got a little more oomph, I’d try olive oil.
Glycerin: Glycerin is very sweet naturally
, and can be used as a moisturizer. It draws moisture to the skin and helps keep it soft and supple. This definitely tastes the best out of the three.
Jojoba Oil: This probably comes as no surprise, but jojoba oil’s properties would make it a great lube!
Chances are, you’ve at least got some olive oil in your pantry. Give it a try, and let me know… wait, never mind.
Would you use a natural lubricant?

Hmmm.
Coconut oil, eh?

LOL! I love this post. It’s so fun and honest. Maybe I’ll try one of these if we need some lube! ;-)

Ryan- That’s a great question! There is a lot of controversy on whether or not they are biodegradable. My guess is that they would take quite a long time to break down. Of course, I definitely wouldn’t recommend skipping one for that sake.

Be sure if using glycerine to wash really really well after. It can cause yeast infections
