Way to go MM, if we set our sights too high it can have the opposite effect and discourage us because we get behind.

Since these goals are attainable for you I expect nothing less than success for you in 2010 and will also be expecting to see your 2010 success report this time next year! ;-)

I have very similar goals on my blog. My husband and I just read Dave Ramsey Total Money Makeover and it is AWESOME. So inspirational and for the first time ever gave me hope about money. We sat down yesterday and put a real budget together. It feels good to work towards financial fitness. If you want to check out my blog post about this please do. Are you better with cash? I would suggest trying to go cash only if that’s something that would work for you. Personally, if I have cash I spend it. Let me know if you want me to help you figure out how to pay off your credit cards. I’ll be happy to help!

At the beginning of 2009 I started with two cards. By the end, I had close to ten. I have made a ton of new year’s resolutions that I am documenting in my blog in hope that I will have to be accountable to anyone reading it. Saving money is going to be the most difficult (I think)
