We changed our financial goals mid-year, but I’m still happy. We were aiming to open another Roth IRA but have gone ahead and decided to use all our “extra” money and a big chunk of our emergency fund to pay off the car instead…we’ll only have mortgage debt after next month. Woot!

Now that I finally have a job (started 3 weeks ago), I can start to focus on realistic financial goals for the year. It’s a big relief!
