Free Redbox Codes- Never pay for Redbox again!

Last month I posted about Redbox and how wonderful I thought it was. Since then, I’ve found this site that lists all the current redbox codes so you’ll never have to pay for a Redbox rental again! I absolutely love a bargain, as I’m sure most of you do too, and I think this is just an amazing site. Be sure to check here before you go to rent another movie again!

Now, a few things before you think I am promoting unethical policies: Redbox actually posts these codes each week if you sign up for their email or SMS service. In turn, you will get a free rental each Monday for one day’s use. When you get the codes, remember which card you use because each code can be used once with each card you have. If you have five credit/debit cards, you can use one code per card and get five free rentals. Sound like a good deal? It is!

April 401k, ROTH IRA and Investment Summary

71360469.jpgWell looks like my 401k is doing a little better this month. It is now down 19.7%, compared to being down 22.9% last month. Although I feel discouraged still, the recent talk of a merger may bring the stock back up once the final decision is made from the company.  I’m crossing my fingers that it will.

Also, something that happened this month was my (and Mr. Money’s) ROTH IRA’s were charged their annual fees.  The fee is supposed to be $15 but he got charged $40.  I’ve called, and hopefully they will get that taken care of.  If not, I’ll be moving those because it makes no sense to be paying $40 a year for an annual fee that doesn’t have that much money in the account.  We’re trying to grow money, not subtract from it!

Things are still slow, but we’re going to remain optimistic that they will only get better!

I survived my first phone interview!

sb10064079ai-001.jpgWell I survived my first interview today. Granted, it was only a phone interview, but I must have done well enough that they scheduled a face to face interview on Tuesday morning. I’m really nervous! Now I’m doubting things and making myself more afraid. I just need to focus on the positives and everything will be fine. I really hope I get hired with this company.

They said the salary I was expecting was in the right range for the position I applied for. I was worried that I was going to be asking for too much money. I actually told them that I’d like to make at least what I am making now. With the position I applied for, I will not be managing any employees. There’s always room for growth though.

They were wondering why I wanted to take a position that was a step down from my current position. I explained to them the current state of the company I now work for and cited that as my main reason. I also told them that I wouldn’t mind working for a smaller financial institution. I think many of the large banks have lost touch of customer service and are focusing on sales now. I miss the customer service aspect of everything.

Now I just need to prepare myself for the face to face interview.  I’ve got a list of questions they may ask me, and I’m going to come up with some good answers so I don’t sound like an idiot at the interview.

I’m a little worried about taking the time off from my current job, but it will have to be done.  I am crossing my fingers that this is the right opportunity for me and they like me well enough to hire me.  Only time will tell!
